Bunnings (Scoresby) Sausage Sizzle

The sausage sizzle, planned, conducted & supervised by Holly Schwind, took place on Saturday 5th May from 7.30am-5.30pm. It was a huge success with 84kgs of sausages & 49 loaves of bread. The fund raising event was aimed at buying a big trailer to store our 4 rings of jig saw mats & other tournament equipment. I sincerley wish to thank the following people who contributed their time & effort to make this event successful. Huge thanks go to Holly Schwind who invested 12 months of planning, Devron Schwind who helped out & provided support & drive for Holly, Tamsyn Schwind who worked from start to finish - a huge effort for a junior! Chris & Dina Whatarau who sourced high quality sausages from a Pakenham butcher & also they donated & personally sliced 20kgs of onions. Brice Thenery of Doveton dojo who donated 40 loaves of bread - Great support from the following people who were rostered & sacrificed their time to help on the day - Nicole Culhane, Marion Williams, Belinda Carter, Neil Simpson, Dan Morey, Peter Ryan, Maxine Hand, Mick Gouldson, Martin Chlupac, Phil Turner, Jerome Lamb & Melinda Addison. I would also like to thank Bunnings Scoresby for their support to run the event. Holly - Again you have done a fantastic job in running this event from start to end & the time & hard work you have invested for LFP - OSU KANCHO
